While Kim Kardashian’s life in on display for all to see in Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she is on the fence about letting her baby be raised on television.
It looks like Kim, whose is due to give birth in July, will not be following in her sister Kourtney’s footsteps. While Kourtney gave birth to her two children on air and now feature them on the reality show, Kim is not looking to give her future baby screen time.
“I don’t think so. Not as of right now,” the reality show star said when asked if the baby would be on television, according to the Examiner.
The Daily Mail reports that the reason behind the 32-year-old reluctance may stem from boyfriend Kanye West. West apparently has worked hard to keep his life off of the camera’s, going so far as to spend time in Paris while the recent season was shot.
Kim alluded to West being the issue their child will not be on the show.
“I love and enjoy seeing Mason and Penelope on the show,” Kim said of Kourtney’s children, according to Metro . “Scott and Kourtney are in the same business of reality television, so it works for them.”
While the Daily Mail reports that Keeping Up With the Kardashians is only contracted for one more season, Kim still looks to the future when discussing portrayinig her child’s life on television.
“When the baby’s old enough, and he or she decides that’s what they want to do, then that’ll be their decision,” the 32-year-old recently said, according to the Examiner. “From the start we’re just gonna try to keep it as private as possible.”
