Did Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala dress designer let the cat out of the bag that she’s engaged to boyfriend Kanye West? Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci defended the floral gown he designed for the pregnant reality star and he even called her West’s “future wife.”
Tisci dressed 14 celebrities in total for the Gala, but he called Kardashian the “most beautiful pregnant woman” he’s ever designed for.
The designer told Women’s Wear Daily “She is the future wife of a really good friend of mine. I wanted to have a moment of family…Kim, Kanye and the baby. It will be a family that I will be close to.”
He added, “I have dressed many pregnant women in the past. People can say what they want. To me, pregnancy is the most beautiful thing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers. I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career.”
NY Daily News points out that Kardashian wasn’t invited to the Met last year but she was invited with West this year.
Tisci was certainly happy she went, saying “She is a really good friend, and I am very happy she came to the Met for the first time. I love Kim.”
