After over three years of dating, and going through a pubic cheating scandal together, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have split. The couple reportedly broke up on Saturday and Stewart is devastated.
Insiders close to the situation have said that the split will likely be temporary and they’re still living together.
"They are going to stay living at Kristen's house because of the dogs," a source told E! News. "It's not fully over or he would have moved out."
The source also said the On The Road actress is “heartbroken,” and described her as “so sad.”
They’ve attended a couple events together in recent months, including going to Coachella and celebrating Stewart’s 23rd birthday. But her plans to celebrate his 27th birthday last week reportedly fell through.
With their issue being their “priorities,” a source also said of the split “They will be back together in no time.”
Other sources tell Us Weekly they’ve been “fighting a lot.”
When Stewart was caught in an embarrassing cheating scandal with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, who was married at the time, in July, she released a statement saying how sorry she was for hurting Pattinson.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," she said at the time. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
