Lindsay Lohan checks into rehab center that was not approved by judge, could be reinstated back to jail

Lindsay Lohan might be violating judge’s orders again, as she has enrolled in a rehab facility that was not approved by prosecutors. Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach was approved, but she checked into Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California instead.

Worse case scenario, the judge could send Lohan to jail for 90 days for violating the terms of the agreement.

According to TMZ, the Mean Girls star flew to California on Wednesday night and enrolled into the program this morning.

“It's not her fault," her father, Michael Lohan, told CNN. "This poor kid was a mess before she left." He added, "Lindsay had no idea that Morningside wasn't approved.”

Her father has also publicly stated he disapproves of her lawyer, Mark Heller. He also says he wanted her to go to a facility in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

“The Lukens Institute is where she wanted to go all along -- a place she will get the right treatment and finally get better," he said.

Since 2007, the actress has been to five rehab centers.
