Even though just days ago Michael Lohan said that his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, should be taken out of the Betty Ford Clinic, he’s been forced to admit that the staff there have helped his daughter after all.

As we previously reported, when Michael arrived in California earlier this week, he told TMZ that he thinks his daughter should be transferred out of Betty Ford. He apparently wanted her out as soon as possible.

However, when he finally visited Lindsay, he changed his tune. While speaking with TMZ on Wednesday as he left the clinic, he said that he was surprised by how well his troubled daughter is doing.

“It's just enough is enough and I think she realizes it. In everyone's life there comes an epiphany and I guess it's come upon her in some way, shape or form. It's time and I think she knows that,” he told the site, reports The Mirror.

Despite her progress, Michael is going to meet with attorney Shawn Holley to discuss moving Lindsay to another clinic if possible.

TMZ also reported today that Lindsay is trying to plot a way to reunite her family. She’s hatched the idea of buying Michael, mother Dina, sister Ali and brother Michael Jr. anchor chains. Michael was so touched by the idea that he apparently bought the anchors himself.

It looks like this rehab trip is just what Lindsay and her family needed.
