Mariah Carey caused quite a stir on Good Morning America on Friday, narrowly missing exposing her breasts on live television and dropping a curse word.
Clad in a gold Versace dress, the back of the gown popped and Lara Spencer had to deal with the aftermath, which she managed to do with a straight face.
Carey exclaimed "I just wanted to change the ensemble, you know," adding, "What should we call this, the Central Park Saga? It seems like a YouTube moment, possibly a Spotify moment!" Us Magazine reports.
She also gave a shout out to Donatella Versace, saying "I love you, Donatella, but it popped, darling."
Some members of her entourage swooped in to try and fix the malfunction, when Spencer was holding up the dress and Carey offered, "I'll just hold them up the whole time!"
Later on, she performed two songs and even cursed when the camera caught her in a bind, "Oh s--t! You didn't hear that,” she said.
NY Daily News notes after a much-needed commercial break, Carey changed into a pink ensemble and chatted with Josh Elliott.
"I've been working out. I've been trying to do the best I can to stay in shape. And these stress-fests, they help. But I need to catch my breath! Please talk,” she said.
