Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly called it quits. The couple met in 2009 on the set of their movie, The Last Song. Their four-year romance, in which they were engaged for two of them, has been going down hill ever since Miley Cyrus, 20, has undergone a major personality change.
According to Us Weekly, Liam’s brothers, Chris and Luke Hemsworth staged an intervention to voice their concerns about Liam’s, engagement to Miley Cyrus. Hollywood Life shared further information saying, “They wanted him to end the romance for good. Liam’s brother’s had heart-to-hearts with him because they were worried about their little brother. They told him, ‘You’re miserable and we hate that.’ They were tired of Liam being hurt by Miley”. He also now finds Miley ‘Immature.’ Their relationship has been the topic of much speculation and multiple sources have revealed that, Liam has officially called off his whirl-wind romance with the global superstar.
Many fans remember when their admirable relationship took off back in 2009 when Miley still had her curly long locks and sweet, innocent look. She was even the considered to be a good ‘Christian old model,’ and she still had her purity ring, carrying a more conservative image. People had been rooting for the couple. However ever since she cut off her hair and traded it for a buzz cut, it seems like things have just been getting worse. Miley traded her Disney Image for a more punk look. The on-again, off-again couple have been the gossip circulating tabloids for the past few months.
Little by little, Miley has kept changing her look and has come a long way from her Hannah Montana days. Her outfits have became more and more revealing, and The Huffington Post posted pictures of the star smoking a suspicious looking cigarette which looked similar to that Marijuana blunt, relaxing on the balcony of her Miami Hotel room. She has also been pictured on and off, without her engagement ring on her finger. More recently, the star posted a photo to on her Instagram revealing a marijuana leaf on her phone case. Keep in mind her photo shoot cover for V magazine, where the star is seen in strikingly revealing bondage look and carrying a more spunky style. Clearly, Miley isn’t the girl Liam, now 23, seemed to fall in love with from the beginning.
An insider revealed to Perez Hilton": “Liam always admired Miley’s independence, but this was more like a rebellion, and it freaked him out. She has undergone a complete personality change. She’s basically thugged out. He used to be obsessed with the way she would go wild. But it got more childish to him. He’s growing up — and fast. At first they were yin and yang, balancing each other out. But they got more and more out of sync.”
At least the couple did one smart thing and kept delaying the wedding, instead of possibly having to get divorced later on. Both the stars have clearly grown apart, and Miley has seemed to “grow up” in her own way, and is still trying to find herself. If you ask me, it’s not a good relationship if one or the other is constantly changing.
