It is career day at Luke’s school and Phil is beyond excited to show his class what he does. Most importantly he wants to make Luke proud. Claire accompanies Phil for support and help with his props. As Phil starts his animated presentation he is interrupted by Thorpe, his rival real estate agent. Phil’s speech cannot top Thorpe’s. The class has a few minutes and the teacher asks Claire to share her career as a stay at home mom. Claire immediately realizes she has not done much other than household duties for many years. Thorpe notices her hesitance and offers her a position as office manager. She accepts and Phil is not happy about it. Thorpe calls Phil and makes dirty jokes. He tries to warn Claire and declares a veto! She denies him the veto, and he says Claire always veto’s him on his ideas. When he asks why she always can veto him she says because he always has bad ideas. Phil notices this will make Claire happy, therefore he agrees to let her do it. On her first day she comes back early and tells Phil, Thorpe is a pig and quit.

Cam and Mitch are excited because Lily lost her first tooth. They plant an envelope with money from the tooth fairy. Cam accidentally placed a $100 bill instead of a $5 bill. They devise a plan to get the money back. They send a letter to Lily from the tooth fairy saying she had made a mistake and will need some of the money back. Lily refuses. They then convince Haley, to dress up as the tooth fairy. Lily catches them and calls Haley out. Haley then talks to her about how it’s wrong to keep money that is not yours. That Santa is watching and he probably will not give her gifts that year but at least she has her $100. Lily thinks it over and decides to give the money back.

With career day, Jay starts talking to Manny and Gloria how he always wanted to write. When they ask him why he never did he responds because he had to work. Gloria then brings out an old type writer and tells him he has time now. So Jay tries to prove a point and decides to write. He quickly realizes it’s not as easy as he thought. Manny walks in on him and helps him write. Well he actually writes the whole thing. Gloria reads it and she starts calling out flaws. Manny flips and says he wrote it and that it is a masterpiece. Gloria gives Jay a look of disappointment. He tells her that when her beauty is gone she will not get away with things like this. She then says Jay will be long gone by the time that happens.
