In the newest trailer for the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s True Blood, Governor of Louisiana, Truman Burrell, delivers a motivational speech on how to hunt vampires – yikes!
As we learned earlier from The Hollywood Reporter co-creator Alan Ball will not serve as show runner for season six. Ball was replaced by writer-producer Brian Buckner, who thankfully has been with the show since its first season and therefore knows the ins and outs of the show.
According to TrueBlood.net, the season will pick up exactly where it left off. There will be three major plot points and questions of this season: Who is Warlow? What exactly is going on with Jason? Along with the aftermath of Bill’s reincarnation into the great and powerful “Billith.”
All major characters will return and seven additional people have been casted. You can check out all the episode titles on TrueBlood.net. This season will only have ten episodes because of Anna Paquin’s maternity leave, making this season two episodes shorter than normal. While waiting for June 16 to roll around, check out the new teaser and the Governor’s speech down below!
