Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are continuing their feud and Minaj took to Twitter to give some choice words for the singer.
Minaj blew up over Carey’s statements on American Idol about her lack of No.1 hits on the charts.
“What u SHOULD be doing (wit your messy ass) is asking why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter,” she tweeted to Perez Hilton.
She also wrote:
But Minaj didn’t stop there. She went on to bring up Idol executives calling Jennifer Lopez to make an appearance on the show. The rumor was initially that they wanted Lopez to replace Carey, but a Fox rep said “This is just another ridiculous Idol judge rumor, likely started by talks of Jennifer performing on the finale.”
“All dem #1s but J.Lo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman and giving genuine critique still trumps that," she wrote.
E! Online notes that Carey, who just renewed her vows with husband Nick Cannon for their fifth anniversary, didn’t respond on Twitter.
