Nicole Richie attended the Digital Content NewFront event in New York City on Tuesday, April 30, where she promoted her new web series "Candidly Nicole" and joked about her children.
The first episode of 31-year-old Richie's web series debuted yesterday, Richie tweeting to her fans, "I love this damn Twitter so much, I'm doing a new web series about it!"
Richie joked to Us Weekly at the event about her daughter Harlow, 5, and son Sparrow, 3, "Harlow is about to enter college because she's a genius, and Sparrow is going to the Olympics for speed skating this coming fall."
Richie spoke on a more serious note of her children's interest in fashion, stating that they "like to play around with all my fashion stuff." She went on to say that if they do decide to follow in her footsteps, she will be glad to support them.
She also says that she and husband Joel Madden like to keep track of memorable moments in their kid's lives by writing them down. "My mom told me you should write down every cute thing that they do because you will forget. Joel and I really write down every adorable thing they do and save them."
