Ravenswood fans will see a familiar face on the ABC Family series as Pretty Little Liars own Tyler Blackburn is set to appear on the show.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Ravenswood is a spinoff from the hit Pretty Little Liars, located “not far from Rosewood, PA.” where PLL is based. The plot surrounds five strangers overcome by a curse. The only way to break the curse is to uncover the town’s mysterious past.
Blackburn will star alongside Hart of Dixie actress Giny Gardner, Shelly Henning and Chris Gayla, from Disney’s Jesse.
Ravenswood is set to premiere following the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode in October.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Blackburn’s character will be introduced in the pilot and will see him traveling to the new town.
Pretty Little Liars made the announcement of Blackburn’s addition to the cast of Ravenswood on Facebook Tuesday.
Blackburn is set to return as a regular on Pretty Little Liars when season 4 kicks of June 11, but it remains unclear if he will be leaving the show for good in October and what will happen to his onscreen romance with Hanna (Ashley Benson).
