Rapper Chief Keef has been arrested for disorderly conduct in Georgia, but he has since been released.
The arrest took place on Monday in Dunwoody, Georgia. He was released early Tuesday, but he took to Twitter once he got out to show how upset he was over the incident.
“Jus Got Out Of Dekalb County jail In Atlanta Mad As f---,” he wrote.
According to The Chicago Tribune, the Chicago rapper was arrested after hotel security smelled a strong odor of marijuana smoke coming from his hotel room. The 17 year old was arrested at the LeMeridan Hotel in north Atlanta.
Security notified local police that they were suspicious of what was going on in the rapper’s hotel room. They said they had both smelled marijuana and saw smoke coming from the room. When the cops arrived on the scene, Chief Keef was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Cops arrived at around 3pm on Monday and he was released from jail at around 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning, a spokesperson said.
