Reese Witherspoon appeared on Good Morning America Thursday, marking her first interview following her highly publicized arrest in Atlanta, Georgia.

Witherspoon, who sat down with George Stephanopoulos, explained as quoted New York Daily News, “It's one of those nights. We went out to dinner in Atlanta, had one too many glasses of wine. We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. And it's just completely unacceptable. And we are so sorry and embarrassed. And we know better."

The Cruel Intentions actress was arrested for disorderly conduct while her husband, Jim Toth, was arrested for Driving under the Influence last month.

Since her arrest, she has apologized profusely and explained to Stephanopoulos that it was all just a “big mistake.”

Among the headlines was Witherspoon’s attempt to flash her celebrity. The actress infamously yelled out, “Do you know my name?”

Witherspoon explains, “I have no idea what I was saying that night…I saw him arresting my husband and I literally panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things. I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant! I said crazy things," she said laughing.

According to TMZ, Witherspoon has plead no contest to charges of disorderly contest. She will pay a $213 fine.

Toth plead guilty to driving under the influence and will perform 40 hours of community service and is on probation for 12 months.
