The daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Suri Cruise, is planning to launch her own fashion line at the age of 7, according to a report, which Holmes already denied.
A report from The Sun states that Suri has landed a £1.5million deal to create a fashion label called Suri.
“Suri is only seven but she is incredibly interested in clothes,” said a source. “She has been through a very difficult year and adapted amazingly to her new life in New York, including the upheaval of starting normal school.”
Given her age, Suri will work with her mom and stylist Jeanne Yang, the report claims.
“This is a nice hobby for her, it’s certainly not going to take over her life,” the insider continued. “Most girls dream of being able to make their own clothes, this just means her drawings will now become a reality. It’ll be interesting to see how it pans out, there’s nothing around quite like it.”
The report also claims firms have been approaching Holmes about a fashion deal for Suri ever since last year. They said a line will launch this fall in a New York department store and by next year, it could hit stores across North America.
But Holmes has confirmed with Vogue UK that The Sun’s report is “100 percent false.”
