This episode began with Neville and more Georgia Federation soldiers arriving at Miles' camp. Miles' was furious and pulled a gun on Neville. However, Neville explained that Monroe was creating anthrax. Miles realized he had no choice but to cooperate with Neville. Neville, Nora, Jason and Charlie with Miles kidnap Dr. Camp, the man making the anthrax for Monroe.
However, Charlie and Nora, did not know that Neville captured Camp's family while they captured Camp himself. Neville planned to use the family members to threaten Camp into creating the anthrax for the Georgia Federation. It was no different than Monroe. Charlie and Nora overheard about this while Miles spoke to Camp. They were outraged.
Charlie and Nora believed that Miles was about to cross a dangerous line. Along with Jason, they freed Camp and his family. Charlie locked Miles in his room with a chain and padlock. Jason chloroformed Neville, his father, locking him in a room. As Charlie, Nora and Jason were freeing the prisoners and taking over the second boat to depart. Neville freed himself and stopped the escape.
Neville uppercutted his son and then pointed a gun at Charlie to kill her. Miles managed to escape and rescued Charlie. As Miles was fighting Neville, Monroe troops ambushed the boats from a fortified position on the river bank. During the confusion Miles drove off in the second boat with the Camps, Charlie, Jason and Nora. As they pushed off, Miles thanked Charlie for doing what she did and showing him he can be different, be better.
Rachel and Aaron were moving toward "The Tower" but their journey had left them hungry and tired. The two run into a camp of people. They begged for food from a man. He refused them, because if he fed them his family would starve. Aaron stole food from the man. After they left the man who refused them held them at gunpoint and was going to execute them. Rachel shot the man before he could kill her and Aaron.
As Rachel and Aaron ran away from the scene. She fell and injured her leg. A bone was jutting out of her leg. Rachel could not walk or move. Aaron carried her to an abandoned truck, to tend to her wound. Rachel tried to provoke Aaron and make him leave for "The Tower" without her. Aaron refused to leave her. The two devised a plan to kill their pursuers. Aaron hid while Rachel with a six shooter in the truck made noise to lure the two pursuers. As she was luring them closer inside, she ran out of ammo. The two men entered the truck. Aaron came into the truck and stabbed one man in the back, the other tackle Aaron down. Rachel crawled toward a shotgun and killed Aaron's attacker.
After that event, Rachel and Aaron are at a camp site. Still heading toward "The Tower." She emphasized that Aaron must survive and must reach "The Tower" even if it is without her. She showed him a page from the special journal that featured a newspaper clipping of Aaron. He became flustered and panicked. Rachel calmed him and explained she did not know his significance to "The Tower" but Ben gave him the pendant in the first place for a reason.
At the very end of the episode, Grace finally got the elevator to respond in "The Tower." And Randall's man was happy and told Grace to send him to Level 12. Grace warned him that Randall would not approve. But the man proceeded but never got to Level 12. The elevator stopped at Level 7 and something or someone attacks him. The elevator returned to Grace's level and blood was seen splattered on the elevator doors on the inside. Then the viewer saw a shocked expression on Grace's face. Then the episode ended.
