Warehouse 13, Syfy’s flagship scripted series, has been picked up for a fifth and final season that will feature six episodes.

Deadline first reported the news Thursday, noting that production will kick off in the summer. The episodes will air in early 2014.

Warehouse 13 has been an incredible signature series for us,” Syfy President of Original Content Mark Stern commented. “We are grateful to the loyal and passionate fan base and know that Jack Kenny, his gifted creative team, and outstanding ensemble cast will give them an amazing finale season.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network is airing season 4.5. Stars include Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek and Allison Scagliotti.

“Our marching order from Syfy is 'Think big,'” showrunner Jack Kenny told THR last month, revealing at the time that the writing team already started plotting the final season. “Do all those episodes that you thought were too big to do before: bigger scenes, bigger excitement, take bigger chances.”

Warehouse 13’s newest episode features Joel Grey and airs Monday at 10 p.m.
