‘The Horror of Dracula' by Jimmy Sangster, is a full length book that covers everything about Dracula from the original screenplay, production photos, and the story, ‘The Vampyre' by John Polidori.

The book is a new take on the classic Count Dracula which
has been prominent in the film industry for years. The book anthology also includes the evolution of Dracula from its origins to today’s modern take on the character in pop culture.

The anthology begins with the bloodthirsty count, like the one in 1922's 'Nosferatu' starring Max Shreck as Graf Orlok/Nosferatu and 1931's 'Dracula' starring Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula, referenced from IMDB.com.

In recent years, TV shows such as ‘Vampire Diaries’ and 'True Blood' and movies like ‘Twilight', have gone off the original ideas and concepts revolving around ‘Dracula' as discussed later in the book.

Besides Polidori's ‘The Vampyre’, the book also contains a short introduction by Michael Hartley.

In my opinion, the best part of the book for classic horror movie fans is when they describe the script for the film ‘Horror of Dracula.’ The script in its purest form, never needed to be improvised, it was that good.

So if you’re interested in old and horror classics, then this book is just for you. This book is also a wonderful addition for those who are interested in the history and evolution of film and production. It is a geek's dream.
