The Voice returned with the live results show but before America’s vote was announced; Miranda Lambert took the stage with Blake Shelton to perform her hit, “Over You.” The performance honored all of the victims who had been impacted by the deadly tornado in Oklahoma. This was clearly an emotional performance from Shelton and Lambert.
Team Shakira and their coach Shakira also took the stage to perform “I’ll Stand By You.”
The first artist to advance was Danielle Bradbery from Team Blake, closely followed by Judith Hill from Team Adam.
Before any other vocalists were saved, Team Blake performed “Mountain Music,” by Alabama. After an impressive performance from Team Blake it was announced that Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher would advance to the next round in the vocal competition. America also saved From Team Shakira Sasha Allen.
Team Usher took to the Voice stage to perform as well. Team Usher and their coach sang a soulful and influential rendition of “Look of Love,” by Diana Ross. Team Adam also took the stage to perform “I Got the Music in Me,” by Kiki Dee Band.
Two more vocalists were saved by America’s vote, Sarah Simmons from Team Adam and Holly Tucker from Team Blake. Also advancing was Amber Carrington from Team Adam and from Team Blake, The Swon Brothers.
