Three more suspects were arrested Saturday on the suspicion of conspiracy to murder over the brutal killing of British soldier, Lee Rigby, that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
British counter-terrorism police arrested two men, aged 24 and 28, at a house in the south of London, according to Reuters. A 21-year-old man was detained in southeast London.
Stun guns were used on two of the three suspects.
These three arrests are an addition to the multiple arrests police have already made in the murder of off-duty soldier Lee Rigby, who was hit with a vehicle and then repeatedly stabbed outside the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, south London.
The two main suspects in the case, aged 22 and 28, were shot by police who arrived on the scene shortly after the incident on Wednesday. They are currently under guard in different hospitals.
Three other people have been arrested in connection to the case, including two women who were later released and a 29-year-old male who has been bailed, pending further questioning, according to USA Today.
Another man, identified by the BBC as Abu Nusaybah, who has not been confirmed as a suspect in the case, was arrested on suspicion of unspecified terrorism offenses on Friday. Just before his arrest, he had given a BBC interview detailing the background of one of the suspects.
