In that movie industry, if a film is successful, it's pretty much guaranteed to get a sequel, so much so that the movie going public is getting a little tired of it! But if they're going to make sequels, they might as well make them for these! Meanwhile, we can pray they don't mess them up!
10) Knocked Up
So I know that This is 40 is already a kind of sequel, but I would really like to see how Ben and Alison are handling parenthood. Their unexpected would be going on six, now. Maybe starting Kindergarden would be a good enough reason for a sequel?
9)Pineapple Express
Everybody, stoners and straightedges alike are dying for a sequel to James Franco and Seth Rogen's Pineapple Express. Rogen tweeted a link to the video above, claiming it as a link to the trailer. Our spirits were doused shortly after though, after realizing it was just an April Fools joke.
I can tell you however, that the trailer is actually just a recut version of a part in their real new movie This is the End. The actors said that what you see here is actually their one and only idea for a sequel to Express, so this might be it!
8) Easy A
For the record, I don't necessarily think that Easy A should have a sequel, but I would really like to see how the sassy and wit-tastic Olive Pendergast deals with college.
7) The Incredibles
Finding Nemo gets a sequel! Monsters Inc. gets one! Why can't The Incredibles!?!? Seeing a more grown up Jack Jack would be awesome! Given his powers, I bet he'd be all over the place and super fun to watch!
6) The Goonies
Granted, this probably should have happened awhile ago for it to really work. But these kids were so funny and dynamic, they totally should have put them together again!
5) Office Space
A sequel to Office Space could be the work place comedy of our time! With all the new technology since it was made in 1999, office angst is on a totally whole other level. How awesome would it be the see them taking a bat to a laser printer, blackberries, and tablets?
4) Unbreakable
...like making a sequel to Unbreakable
This one's been talked about for awhile. With all the negative people have associated with M. Night Shyamalan in the past couple years, a sequel to his pre-super hero flick might fix his stance in the eyes of the public.
3) The Iron Giant
I remember seeing The Iron Giant at the theaters as a kid! I don't know if you remember the ending, but the Giant's parts are scattered everywhere, and hope seems lost... and then at the very last seconds of the movie, they all start pulling back together again! ...AND THEN WHAT!!?!? THIS WAS LIKE 13 YEARS AGO! WHY DO WE STILL NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!?
2) Mean Girls
Okay, I know this already has a sequel, but it's not exactly what we were hoping for, was it? If Tina Fey would write again, and Lindsay Lohan would stop being all Lindsay Lohan-y, a Mean Girls sequel would be just as hilarious as the first!
1) Inception
Knowing the industry, this has got to already be in the works. Some people claim to have figured out the mystery of the end, but I think it would be really awesome if the second movie picked up right where the first one left off, with the shot of the top so we can see what happens (or doesn't happen) next.
