Devotees will know that the cult classic Arrested Development returns like a loose seal next week via an entire new season to be released on Netflix. The show's creators seem to recognize their target market - the internet is hopping with oddball and half-hidden teasers.
The most oddball video features the actor-wanna-be Tobias Funke being presented a collection of insert-friendly bits of actions to drop onto whatever film via movie magic.
And as Netflix is already claiming the series as a "Netflix Original", they are grabbing publicity by the horns. The Netflix Youtube page is rife with Arrested Development sneak peaks, including the following trailer, which has accrued over 2 million views since it posted three days ago.
As reported by The Huffington Post earlier this week, the series' well known banana stand has been successfully promoting the show around the country. Its recent appearance in New York City was particularly well received.
Anyone who hasn't sat through the entire first three seasons recently may be in need of a refresher. But not to worry, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, a website has been established to document all recurring jokes from the series. The website, Recurring Developments, draws lines to represent the connections between the oft-self-referential comedy.
