Actress and The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg has been spotted on the set for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
A photographer managed to snap the shot of Goldberg who was wearing a large, crazy-haired wig. It has not been announced that Goldberg would be appearing in the film, and it is still unclear as to what part she will be playing.
According to The Inquisitr, most of the major roles of the film have already been cast, so there has been a lot of discussion about Goldberg's involvement.
ScreenCrush speculates that the actress could have a cameo appearance in the film. They also pointed out that it appears that she may be wearing scrubs underneath the large coat she was photographed wearing.
The rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise was sold to Nickelodeon and the film was announced. It was expected to be released in 2012, but it ended up being pushed back on a few occasions. The movie is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman, and is set to be released in the summer of 2014. Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Noel Ficthner, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, and Danny Woodburn are amongst the actors set star in the film.
