Cody Longo, an actor who appeared on Nickelodeon’s Hollywood Heights, was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles on Thursday morning.

According to TMZ’s law enforcement sources, the 25-year-old was driving recklessly around 2:30 a.m. Police say he was driving too close to the person in front of him and was flashing the driver with high beams.

He was pulled over and officers say he smelled of alcohol, so they had him take sobriety tests. Needless to say, they didn’t go very well. Longo’s tests showed that he had a blood alcohol level of .19 and .20, which is over twice the legal limit.

He was booked at the local police station and he posted $15,000 bail.

According to The Inquisitr, outside of the Nickelodeon show, Longo has appeared in Piranha 3D, Fame and the NBC soap Days of Our Lives. Other credits include Brothers & Sisters and a faith-base movie called Not Today. In February, he released a single titled “She Said.”

Longo’s rep told TMZ, “This was an unfortunate misunderstanding. Cody takes it very seriously as his focus is music and acting.”
