It was a boys bonding night on the British boy band’s second episode of The Wanted Life. The band embarked on a solo adventure to none other than, as Max puts it, America’s party capital, full of strippers, women, bars, and clubs: Las Vegas.
If you missed last week’s episode, or don’t know the dynamics of the band, both Tom and Siva are in committed relationships. So what happens when the band manager says it’s a boys trip only?
Of course, their girlfriends are bummed they don’t get to go. Siva’s girlfriend, Nareesha, especially is jealous. However, she had nothing to worry about because Siva constantly called her and right after their performance even got into a Limo so he could Skype her…yawn! The rest of the band was not happy about this because it ruined the point of boy-bonding time their manager insisted makes them stronger performers.
Max, notorious ladies’ man, was especially annoyed by Siva’s attachment to his girlfriend. However, he found a blonde to flirt with and soon was happy if we’re all on the same page of what happiness for Max entails. Jack had a similar storyline to Max in which he took advantage of what – er, whom – Las Vegas had to offer. Oh, and much to no one’s surprise Max was on the phone with his mother – we learned in the last episode what a Mama’s Boy he was at heart – who lectured him about proper sunscreen use. It’s nice seeing that side of Max!
Tom, the other Wanted member with a girlfriend, was grateful that his girlfriend Kelsey did not take part on the Vegas trip. He also appreciates that she understands the need for his time with the band. Like Max, Tom was also annoyed that Siva was acting mopey about his girlfriend situation. Hopefully Siva realizes no one was happy with him being controlled by Nareesha!
On a somewhat different storyline, Nathan went to the doctor about his throat soreness, only to be told he was to be on vocal rest for two weeks. It wasn’t all bad news for Nathan, as he received an abundance of Get Well cards and gifts.
The next episode of The Wanted Life will continue to develop Nathan’s injury in which he claims gets worse to the point where he may need surgery. The boys also plan to have a barbeque for their friends and fans.
