Summer’s in full swing, at least as far as the networks are concerned. So, it’s pretty much reality shows battling it out, while scripted shows try (and usually fail) to get an audience. ABC launched the soap drama Mistresses last night and warned the network’s worst rated debut in two years. The Voice powered NBC to an easy sweep of the night.

NBC came out on top with 9.46 million viewers and a 2.7 18-49 rating. The Voice had 10.66 million viewers for its first hour and 11.44 million for the second hour, notes HitFix. The show drew a 3.2 18-49 rating, tying last week’s series low for a performance episode. Revolution’s first season finale had 6.28 million viewers and a 2.0 18-49 rating. The show is coming back in the fall.

ABC came in a distant second with just 5.21 million viewers and a 1.5 18-49 rating. The Bachelorette sunk to 5.6 million viewers and a 1.7 18-49 rating. Mistresses’ premiere had 4.4 million viewers and a 1.2 18-49 rating. According to The Wrap, that’s the worst scripted series premiere for ABC since the 2011 summer show combat Hospital.

CBS was all repeats of its Monday lineup with 4.46 million viewers and a 0.9 18-49 rating.

Fox had 1.73 million viewers and a 0.6 18-49 rating. The network is repeating sitcoms on Mondays this summer and aired an episode of FX’s Anger Management last night. It drew 1.6 million viewers and a 0.7 18-49 rating.

The CW’s Oh Sit! had 714,000 viewers and a 0.2 18-49 rating.

Univision easily drew more viewers than Fox, averaging 3.54 million. It also topped CBS in the demo with a 1.4 rating.
