Alyssa Milano, who currently stars on ABC’s Mistresses, posed for the latest cover of Maxim to talk about growing up a child star and surviving being on a sitcom in the 1980s. And of course, she also strikes several sexy poses for the men’s magazine.

According to USA Today, the Who’s The Boss? actress said that she didn’t think growing up before audiences’ eyes was weird.

“It wasn't weird, because I didn't know any different,” she explained. “You know, I went through puberty like everyone else; it only got embarrassing when the show would take what was going on with me and write it into the show, like ‘Samantha's First Bra.’ It was like, OK, guys, do we really need to do this? But what an awesome time stamp!”

Milano also knows that her career is the exception. More often than not, child stars have difficulty dealing with fame and usually outgrow their stardom.

“That was an era when TV child actors just didn't work after their show was over,” she said, notes Us Weekly. “I think Christina Applegate and I are the only two who maintained some sort of career path past the shows that launched us.”

She added, “But I have a great family, and I look at a lot of these kids who struggle in the industry and think they'd have struggled no matter what they did.”

She also shares a really neat factoid. "I remember Arnold Schwarzenegger helping me with my homework," she told Maxim.

Milano, 40, appears in the July/August issue of Maxim. She appears on the cover wearing an unbuttoned shirt and just a really tiny pair of shorts.

Mistresses airs on ABC on Mondays at 10 p.m.
