The news of Amanda Bynes and her reckless tweets about celebrities across the poll from Rihanna, to Jay Z, to Perez Hilton, and now to Lance Bass has caused a tremendous uproar. On Lance Bass's SiriusXM radio show he responds to all the backlash.
According to Mirror, Lance Bass on his radio show "Dirty Pop with Lance Bass" he had said that Amanda Bynes is purposely trying to make it difficult for anyone to get into contact with her:
"She deleted all of her email addresses and cell phone numbers so none of her friends can get in touch with her."
When being called an "ugly ex boy-band member," and was said that he had "no talent or career," he was hurt but had no choice to take that with a grain of salt:
"Ouch - The Amanda I know would never had said something like this to me - either this is a fake person or she really does have a mental illness. Way too sad. I reached out - all I can do."
Ms. Bynes first got upset when the past N'Sync member spoke about her on his talk show saying that he hopes she gets help with any issues that she is havng.
She responded with outrage saying things like:"I ignored Lance Bass on Twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness," and "I haven't spoken to Lance Bass in 11 years. To say I have a mental illness out of nowhere makes me lash out! You're making me crazy!"
Lance Bass had said that she deleted every possible connection to her except on social networking and twitter:
"Everything is deleted. She obviously has a cell [phone]… She's tweeting, but none of her friends can get to her. Her family can't get to her… so the only way into her life is through Twitter."
According to USA Today stars other than Lance Bass are expressing their concern with the "What a Girl Wants," actress:
"What's most upsetting to me is that the people or the entities surrounding those young women don't seem to be able to come to their aid as quickly as they are to come to their bank account. … I got to be all the way to 35 before (my mental illness/manic depression) was diagnosed," said actress Patty Duke.
Jaleel White of Family Matters had also pitched in with his concern saying "She has no clue the train is not on the tracks right now. "All I can really do is pray for her, to be quite honest."
Others such as Courtney Love, and Mara Wilson, express their concern for the actress but all that can happen now is hope that she can "get it together," as Courtney Love put it.
