Following reports that American Idol will revamp its judging table with AI alum, Grammy Award winner and former Idol winner Carrie Underwood has revealed that she has not been asked by Fox producers to join the show.
Underwood discussed her own judging situation with E! News saying, "I haven't been asked. My world's pretty busy. I have The Sound of Music this fall so even if they did ask I'd be like, 'Eh, I don't know. I don't think that would work.'"
The “Blown Away” singer did note, “But who would know better than people who had already been through it all?"
Thus far Jennifer Hudson is only rumored former Idol to have signed on as a judge.
It is unclear how many judges Fox is seeking. Currently the only remaining Season 12 judge is Keith Urban. Randy Jackson , Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey all put in their resignation.
Adam Lambert, Clay Aiken and Kris Allen have all been rumored as potential judge.
