Brad Pitt surprised his fiancé, Angelina Jolie, with a romantic dinner for two in Paris, France on Monday night, ahead of her 38th birthday on Tuesday.
Pitt planned the dinner on Monday afternoon for Il Vino, which is run by World's Best Sommelier award winner Enrico Bernardo.
“Their main plate was langoustines with a French wine," a staff member told People. "And there was a dessert – a cake, because it was her birthday."
Fellow diner Yen Goel said, "It was very subtle, real cool.”
The superstar couple, who have six kids, dined in the back of the restaurant. After dinner, they went to nightclub Silencio, which was designed by director David Lynch. They met up with other members of the World War Z travel party.
Just Jared reports that they were all together earlier in the day at the Paris premiere of the zombie film.
As for birthday plans for today, Pitt said, "Every year is special. This year isn't any more special than other years. We're going to celebrate in the air with the kids because we're going on to the next city."
