Earlier today, June 28th, Ashley Greene who played Alice in the Twilight Saga movies took an Instagram picture of her holding two puppies. “Today felt like a great day to rescue a puppy… Or two! I couldn’t take a brother without his sister! #spotrescue #love #life #theosnewfam,” the caption read.
In March of this year, a fire broke out in Greene’s L.A. condo, destroying her apartment as well as killing one of her two dogs according to TMZ. Greene, her brother and her boyfriend were sleeping in the condo when an unattended candle caught fire to the sofa. The three ran out only to realize the two dogs were still inside. The two men tried to go back in for the dogs but were unable to rescue them. The dog that was killed in the fire died under Greene’s bed.
US Magazine reports that Greene adopted her new puppies from Spot Rescue in L.A. She revealed the name of one of them to her followers on Twitter when she tweeted a picture of ‘Ralph’ and how he was already making himself at home.
