Cameron Diaz’s film Bad Teacher is getting a sequel as well as a spinoff series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Columbia Pictures has begun to develop a sequel for the 2011 summer hit. The film starred Diaz along with Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel. The film earned $216.2 million worldwide and only cost $20 million to make.

Diaz has not been confirmed for the film, the actress is busy filming The Other Woman which stars Leslie Mann and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Diaz is then set to film Agent: Century 21 and Sex Tape, it is unclear whether she will appear in the sequel.

has also inspired a spinoff series set to air on CBS in the fall. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will star Fringe actress Ari Graynor as a divorcee who becomes a teacher in order to find her next husband. Hilary Winston will be executive producer for the single-camera show.
