Tuesday morning, bomb threats against buildings on Princeton University's campus led to evacuations.

According to The Inquisitr, Princeton officials told all students and staff members to leave the campus and not to return until told to do so. Students residing on the Princeton campus were told to go to the nearby town until police released an all-clear.

ABC Local News reports that the threats were apparently phoned in and that they are viable. Police are asking people to avoid downtown. Also, certain roads are being shut down, limiting access to the campus while allowing egress. However, as the semester ended by June 4th, the campus not overly populated.

Princeton University took to Twitter to ensure its message reached its target.

Business Insider reports that an investigation is already underway, spear headed by the Princeton University Police Department. As of this time, neither New Jersey State Police or the FBI has become involved.
