MTV’s new trailer for the second season of its hit show Catfish: The TV Show teases viewers with some shocking surprises this June. New twists, curveballs, and revelations are in store for fans following hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph on their expedition to expose the truth about online relationships.

The trailer features online couples looking for love and the different paths they are on to get there. Some of the most shocking daters are a woman is engaged to a man she has never met in person, a man who has sent thousands of dollars to a woman he has never seen, and an online relationship that has persisted for eight years completely over the computer according to MTV News.

It goes on to show clips of the trama, tears, and trials these online daters face as Schulman and Joseph work to have the two meet up in person for the first time. Exclamations such as “Woah!” and “This could be the best surprise ever!” are heard upon discoveries of shocking revelations, sure to intrigue viewers to watch this season’s adventures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the season one premiere of Catfish: The TV Show MTV’s highest-rated 11 p.m. launch ever and proved to be its highest-rated series debut in five years.

Before the kick off of season two, MTV will air a 30-minute special Hooked on Catfish: The Road to Season Two on June 17 at 11 p.m, enticing viewers to get hooked on the juicy and sometimes unreal episodes. It will include sneak peeks of season two episodes that are sure to start some buzz.

The expanded 16-episode season is scheduled to premiere June 25th at 10 p.m. ET.
