Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum became parents last week when they welcomed a healthy baby girl, and now they couple, who met on the set of their film Step Up, is revealing her name.
A message appeared on Tatum’s website that revealed her name to be Everly Tatum.
“Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31st in London. Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna, and Ms. Everly!" the message read.
The couple are in London while Tatum is filming his newest movie Jupiter Ascending, E! Online reports.
Darryll Dewan, Dewan-Tatum’s father, told E! after his daughter gave birth “Anxious to meet our grandchild and hug Jenna and Chan. They are an amazing couple and will be great parents. I'm very excited for everyone in each of our families."
The Huffington Post reports Tatum and his wife tied the knot in 2009 after meeting in 2006.
Tatum admitted earlier this year that he might need some practice in the diaper-changing department. “I have never changed a diaper before, so I may need some help learning,” he said. “I don’t have friends who have kids, so it’s going to be an interesting experience to learn how to change a diaper. I hope I don’t have any problems where the diaper falls off and the baby poops on the ground.”
