Singer Chris Brown went on a Twitter rampage this afternoon to shed light on his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run incident last month. The singer was charged with fleeing the scene of an accident and driving without a valid license, both misdemeanors.

Last month, Brown allegedly rear-ended another vehicle with his Range Rover and left the scene without producing valid driver’s license information or proof of insurance, Frank Metelajan, spokesman for the Los Angeles city attorney’s office told the LA Times.

Brown took to his Twitter to refute the claims made against him, tweeting eight explanatory tweets and changing his profile picture and headline photo to pictures of the accident.

Brown ended his rant by tweeting “2 Corinthians 12:10:,” a Bible verse which states, “That is why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ.”

If convicted, Brown faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each offense.
