Ciara was performing at LA Pride over the weekend when she was served with a lawsuit during the middle of a song. The singer is being sued by nightclub Hit Factory for failing to show up at a scheduled show.

The “Like a Boy” singer’s camp claims that they did inform the popular West Hollywood hotspot that she wouldn’t be able to make it, yet they continued to promote her anyway.

According to TMZ, someone was sent to the concert on Saturday, since it was known where she was going to be performing on Saturday night, and served her the papers.

Ciara threw them back at whoever tried to hand them to her. The lawsuit states that Ciara signed a $10,000 deal to perform at Hit Factory last Friday night. She said she couldn’t perform due to her obligation to the LA Pride event, agreed to make an appearance, but she ended up bailing.

Daily Mail notes Ciara wore a tight midriff-bearing outfit to the performance, which she headlined.
