Despite reports which claim Paris Jackson’s mother Debbie Rowe will fight for legal guardianship of her daughter, sources are now coming forward stating that Rowe has enough admiration for Paris’ grandmother Katherine Jackson to begin a hasty legal court battle.

Earlier reports from TMZ suggested that Rowe wanted to seek guardianship of her 15-year-old following her suicide attempt last week.

New York Daily News reports that Rowe is not outright seeking guardianship of her daughter with a source explaining, “It would take Katherine dying or becoming very ill for Debbie to seek legal guardianship in court.”

A judge has stated that the guardianship will be looked into as it is crucial following last weeks incident that Paris be in the care of someone who is attentive enough in the young child’s life.

“Katherine said she isn't going to give up the role because she feels that would be letting Michael down, and Debbie has too much respect for Katherine,” the source explains.

Currently Paris is at the UCLA Medical Center where she will finish up her treatment before going home.
