Rogue, the first original series for DirecTV, has been renewed for a second season. The show airs of the satellite provider’s audience network.

Deadline confirmed today that the show has earned a second season that will include 10 episodes and will start filming this summer. It will premiere early next year.

Rogue was announced last May and is produced by Entertainment One Television with Greenroom Entertainment. It was created by Matthew Parkhill and has Newton playing the emotionally fractured police detective Grace Travis.

“We are thrilled that our first venture into original programming resonated with our subscribers who enthusiastically tuned into Rouge each week,” Chris Long, senior vp entertainment and production at DirecTV, said in a statement posted at THR. “We look forward to bringing them another season of Rogue and the chance to experience the next chapter in Grace’s life.”

DirecTV has also greenlit its second original series, Neil LaBute’s Full Circle with David Boreanaz (Bones) and Kate Walsh (Private Practice).

DirecTV also aired new episodes of Damages and Friday Night Lights on the Audience Network after rescuing them from cancellation.
