The New York Mets lost their game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday, but since the Mets lose so frequently, that’s not the story. The real story is the obviously drunk Mets fan who lost his beer when he stumbled over two rows of seats.

As you can see in the video, the fan decided that it was a good idea to stand with his friends, but he quickly lost his balance. He goes tumbling over rows of seats that were thankfully empty. So, while he lost his beer, no one got drenched.

The funniest part (well, actually the whole thing is hilarious, but there’s one part that stands out the most) is that it happened just as Cardinals reliever Trevor Rosenthal was about to throw a pitch, notes The New York Daily News. Rosenthal looks like he was briefly distracted by the fan, looking back over his shoulder. As a professional, he ignored it and threw the pitch. He did give up one hit in the inning, but kept the Mets from scoring.

The Mets lost 2-1. They are already 12 and a half games back in the NL East and it’s only June.
