Former X Factor UK judge Tulisa Contostavlos was arrested on suspicion of setting up a drug deal. She was recorded on an undercover deal with a reporter from The Sun, arranging a cocaine deal for her friend, rapper Mike GLC, worth £800.
Speaking to The Sun’s undercover report, she said “Whatever you want, he’s got it.”
When they arranged for her to get half an ounce of cocaine, she said “Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One’s a massive cocaine dealer. He’s my best friend. He’s a gangster — he’s my gangster.”
Having been into drugs as a teen and publicly admitting to be sober now, Tulisa said during the undercover investigation she did not do the drugs herself but could arrange for anything through Mike. “We talk in lingo. Like we know what. I can’t call him and go, ‘Have you got any?’ I’ll say, ‘Hi, have you got any sweets? And he’ll be like, ‘Um, how many sweets do you want?’” she explained.
MTV UK reports that both have been arrested and released on bail. Mike told reporters outside of the police station, "We are innocent. We haven't been charged."
He added, "Anyone can edit or chop things together on video. The truth will come out in the end. I don't want to go into much more detail,” adding, "I am going home to be with my family. This is ruining my life. I am not a drug dealer. I have never sold drugs in my life."
