Glee actor Matthew Morrison is engaged to longtime girlfriend Renee Puente.
E! News confirmed the exciting news, noting although it is unclear if the singer/actor serenaded his love, the couple did receive quite the shout out following the proposal.
Elton John and husband David Furnish gushed about the engagement at the White Tie and Tara Ball in London which followed with a rendition of “Your Song” sung byboth John and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
A source explains, “They are thrilled. It is the first marriage for them both. He loves her so much. The theme of the night was love, which is so appropriate.” Sources close to the couple previously gushed to Us Weekly about Morrison’s relationship with 26-year-old Puente saying, “Matt's friends absolutely adore Renee! They have never seen Matt happier than when he is with her. She is super supportive of his career and also works hard on her own. She is such a great girl and they are awesome together."
In addition to breaking female hearts everywhere now that he is 'officially' off the market, Morrison is currently promoting his new album, Where It All Began.
