Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West caused a stir this week when it was revealed they named their baby girl North West. But proud grandma, Kris Jenner, who is also a grandma to daughter Kourtney’s two kids Mason and Penelope, explained the name the best she could on The View.
Jenner sat down with the ladies of the ABC show and basically reiterated what’s being said in the press about the name – that North is the couple’s “North star.”
Sources are quoted as saying “What's North of North? Nothing.”
Jenner explained, "I love the name North. I'm pro-North, absolutely.” She added, "The way she explained it to me was that North means highest power and she says that North is their highest point together and I thought was really sweet,” Cambio reports.
She also addressed those pesky divorce rumors, saying "Everything's fine. Everything is perfect! We've been married 23 years and hopefully another 23 more." She said the house seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians that her husband, Bruce, escapes to is just a vacation home for the family.
