Sports Illustrated and Victoria Secret model Heidi Klum is finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Seal by getting the tattoo of his name removed from her forearm.
In 2008 Klum got an abstract design tattooed on her forearm that represents her ex-husbands name as well as her children’s initials says People. While her ex-husbands name is definitely in the process of being removed, Klum has decided to keep the stars that represent her children.
According to ABC News, Klum said that her divorce from singer Seal was “hurtful” and “horrible.” She explains how going through a divorce when you’re always in the tabloids is a difficult feat.
Since their divorce Klum has started dating her bodyguard Martin Kirsten. They struck up a relationship before her divorce from Seal was finalized, causing a stir in the media, especially after Seal’s poor choice in words during an interview that made it seem as though he was implying that Klum was having an affair. Seal’s publicist cleared up the confusion, claiming that Seal wasn’t trying to accuse Klum of cheating.
“I trust him with my children’s life,” Klum says of Kirsten. He’s a great man and recently we just got to know each other from a completely different side.”
