Jennifer Lopez has come a long way from her days as “Jenny From the Block,” and now the actress/singer has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On Thursday, Lopez was given the 2,500th star on Hollywood Blvd., right in front of the W Hotel, which recognized her extensive music and acting careers. Some of her past co-stars, Jane Fonda (Monster-in-Law) and Keenen Ivory Wayan spoke at the ceremony.

Lopez launched her music career in 1999 with the release of her hit single “If You Had My Love.” She has since gone on to make seven studio albums and has sold over 70 million records worldwide. This fall, she will release her eighth studio album, ABC reports.

The mother of twins Max and Emme has also starred in an array of films such as Out of Sight, Selena, Maid in Manhattan and more.

“She should have an entire block of stars," Fonda said during her speech. "In my opinion, she's only scratched the surface of what she's capable of."

"I love you, thank you so much for going on this journey with me. This landmark moment inspires me to work harder and dream bigger for all that is the future,” Lopez said at the event. “I hope you feel as I do that it was all worth it, and I hope that I have touched your hearts even in a small way."

She also took to Twitter to express her excitement:

She wrote before that, “Today is only possible b/c of my family, friends & fans. I’d LOVE if u could be a part of this celebration w me live!”
