Jennifer Lopez received the 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday.

The singer/actress was honored by In Living Color costar Keenen Ivory Wayans and Monster-In-Law costar Jane Fonda during the unveiling of her star, which sits in front of the W Hotel in Hollywood, ABC’s KABC reports.

“I was there at the very beginning of the dream. I saw the dream almost not happen. I saw her continue to push, to work hard and make that dream happen," Waynes said.

Fonda also spoke affectionately about her costar during the ceremony, “She should have an entire block of stars," Fonda said. "In my opinion, she's only scratched the surface of what she's capable of."

Lopez was accompanied to the event by longtime boyfriend Casper Smart.
The former American Idol judge gushed about the event over Twitter, posting a series of photographs celebrating her accomplishment.

In addition to her roles in Monster-In-Law, Maid in Manhatten, The Back-Up Plan, Out of Sight and many others, Lopez has also had an extremely successful music career. According to ABC, Lopez has released more than 70 million records worldwide since 1999.
