Jennifer Love Hewitt is expecting her first child with boyfriend Brian Hallisay, who she reunited with on the set of their Lifetime show The Client List. They’ve been dating for a little over a year.
Hewitt, 34, and Hallisay, first worked together on their NBC series Love Bites.
In a statement, they told Us Magazine, “We're so thrilled and happy to start a family.”
Hewitt started dating actor Ross McCall in 2005 and called off their engagement in 2008. She then went on to date Jaime Kennedy, her Ghost Whisperer co-star, from 2009-2010.
That same year she broke up with Kennedy, she told Us, "I would love to have babies. . . one day. I'm obsessed with babies!"
She hasn’t mentioned her pregnancy on Twitter yet, but she did tweet on June 1, “Life is simply beautiful! Today is all about being grateful.”
Hollywoodlife reported in March that Hewitt even thought about freezing her eggs. A source told Us Weekly at the time, “If it doesn’t work out with Brian, she can still be a mom one day,” if she did it. “She has been asking a few women she knows about freezing her eggs,” and “feels worried that she will end up single, since none of her relationships have been successful.”
