Actress JoAnna Garcia and husband Nick Swisher have introduced their baby girl Emerson Jay to the world via Twitter on Tuesday. The 4-month-year-old was pictured sleeping in a tiny wicker basket with an array of flowers in the background.
Garcia tweeted “@NickSwisher & I would like you all to meet our little angel :)” and posted the adorable picture.
She also tweeted to the photographer, “Thank u to our beautiful friend and beyond talented photographer @jacquelinejoart for the amazing shots of our little princess!!”
The proud parents talked about their excitement over welcoming Emerson when Garcia was pregnant, with Swisher telling Yahoo last month "I am so excited. I never in a million years thought I'd have a little girl, but over the last six months, the pink and purple dresses that I've bought, I'm telling you. …My wife Jo, she says, 'You're going to spoil that little girl so much.' I can't wait, man.”
He added, "I talk to her every night. Jo and I, we're so excited to meet her and to bring her in the world and give her a whole lot of love."
That is exactly what happened, as Garcia tweeted after her birth "Since the arrival of baby Emerson, Nick and I have been so filled with love, joy and gratitude.”
MLB star, Swisher, is a Cleveland Indians first baseman, and the couple tied the knot in 2010.
