Uncle Jessie was quite the womanizer on the hit series Full House. But it wasn't enough to seal the deal with Aunt Becky played by Lori Laughlin.

In an interview with HuffPost Live, John Stamos shares his feelings towards former on-screen love. In the late 80's to mid 90's, John Stamos famously played Uncle Jessie to the Olsen twins, Jodi Sweetin, and Candice Cameron. He attributes "off-timing" as to why Becky and Jessie never continued their love in real life.

Stamos spilled that the two "went on a date to Disneyland before, you know, before we were both married. In real life, when we were 18, 19-years-old," adding that he has "no disrespect to her family and her husband now."

Stamos, 49, currently starring on Necessary Roughness does not regret that they two never ended up together: "She's one of my dearest friends, and that's good enough." That being said, Stamos "really [does] adore her. She has a great husband and he's got a lot of money so..."

In an earlier interview with HuffPost Live, Laughlin agrees that there was no window of opportunity for a relationship to occur. "We were great friends...and we have chemistry. I was actually married at the time I was doing the show and then I got divorced, and when I got divorced he met Rebecca [Romijn] and he got married. So our timing was just really off so I don't think it really even entered our minds that it would be something more."

According to Us Weekly, Romijn and Stamos divorced in 2005. Laughlin, 48, is married to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli and the couple has two children.
