As the social media universe buzzes with news that Kim Kardashian and rapper beau Kanye West are expecting a baby girl, Khloé Kardashian Odom says the televised reveal was something both soon-to-be parents agreed upon.

Despite reports that West is unenthusiastic about his celebrity status, inside scoop from Kardashian’s younger sister discloses that the singer has consented for some baby Kimye details to air on television. The gender of West’s baby with his reality television queen Kardashian was made public during the premiere of season 8 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians this past Sunday. The decision to broadcast the baby’s sex is one sister Khloé says was “mutual.”

"Kim and Kanye, they both mutually agree on obviously what they want to have on the show or not," she said earlier this week to MTV News . "And so I think everyone is curious and wants to know. And we have opened up so much of our lives, so I think it's only natural."

While living in front of rolling cameras may not be “natural” to West, Kardashian also said he won’t be entirely off camera in the show’s eight season, which is currently airing on E!.

“I wouldn't say [Kanye] is like a main person, fixture on the show, but he's definitely on because he's a part of Kim's life," Kardashian added during the interview.

As to the hot topic of the baby’s gender, Auntie Khloé claims she is pretty neutral on the subject.

"I honestly, I really don't care. I mean [Kourtney's son] Mason and [daughter] Penelope are so amazing and so cute. I love having all the babies around, so I don't care. I'm sure there's going to be a million more anyways."

Though Khloé may not have had a gender preference, Billboard reports that West might have, based on his pregnant girlfriend’s reaction to the news.

"Who doesn't want a girl?” Kardashian said upon hearing the news. “They're the best and I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."
